Beginning of Semester Reflection
Its amazing how much technology advances over just a few years. I have not been out of high school very long and yet so much has changed since I was there. It is amazing what this new technology is bringing into the classroom, and even more amazing the possibilities it brings. I have already learned a lot about technology and the ways that it can be used in the classroom and I am excited to see how much more I can learn. A few things that have stuck out to me so far this semester like the idea of digital natives or immigrants and how that can effect how we approach and use technology in the classroom. Another thing that has stuck out to me is the importance of technology, and the fact that if we are not using it we are going to be putting out students at a disadvantage. They learn best through these avenues, because that is what they are used to using, so if we choose to not use them then we are only hurting our students. I cant wait to start using these methods in my classroom.

I feel the same way. It's really interesting how since the little time we have been out of high school how much has actually changed and how fast it still is changing year by year. If we don't jump on board and continue to learn though technology its going to be a challenge for us to teach the era we are presented with. I thought you had a lot of good points and insight thought your experiences. Good job.
